Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using KiraHelp, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using KiraHelp on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

2. The service

KiraHelp provides an AI-powered property maintenance management platform for UK landlords, including issue triage, compliance tracking, tenant communication tools, and related features (“the Service”).

Not professional advice. KiraHelp’s AI outputs (including Kira’s triage results) are informational only and do not constitute legal, structural, safety, or professional advice. Always engage qualified professionals for safety-critical issues.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access. You must not share your account with others or use the platform for any unlawful purpose.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the platform to harass tenants or any third party; submit false or misleading information; attempt to circumvent rate limits or security controls; reverse-engineer or scrape the platform; or use the service in any way that violates UK law.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time through your billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days’ notice.

6. Data and content

You retain ownership of the data you upload. By using the Service, you grant us a licence to process that data to provide the Service, including passing issue descriptions and photos to our AI provider. You are responsible for obtaining any necessary consents from tenants before submitting their personal data.

7. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, which we will endeavour to schedule outside peak hours. We are not liable for losses caused by service unavailability.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KiraHelp’s total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months prior to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or loss-of-profit damages.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms. On termination, your data will be retained for the period required by law (up to 6 years for maintenance records) and then deleted.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will notify you by email or in-app notification at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
